Source files and supporting material

Original photographs, native image files, metadata and supporting measurement data are retained within the project archive.

Where practicable, requests for source material will be considered for:

Please identify the relevant report, version, figure, date or location, together with the intended purpose of the request. This helps locate the correct material within a large archive.

Corrections and additional evidence

Factual corrections, alternative explanations and independently sourced evidence are welcome.

Please distinguish, where possible, between:

Material changes will be recorded through report updates or correction notes rather than silently replacing the published record.

Media and reproduction enquiries

Please contact the project before publishing altered, cropped, annotated or colour-adjusted versions of original photographs or video.

When requesting permission, include the intended publication, image or video concerned, proposed alterations and whether the use is commercial or non-commercial.

Immediate environmental concerns

Ground Truth & Governance is an evidence archive and research project, not an emergency or incident-reporting service. Concerns involving an immediate risk to people, property or the environment should be reported directly to the relevant emergency service, regulator, local authority or responsible landowner.
